Tomorrow morning our call2all outreach team in Cambodia is launching a church plant in a Cambodian village near Battambang. We are joining with a wonderful long-term missionary here to see this community begin. It has been a point of prayer for Mileng for a long time and with the passion of our team to see churches planted she felt it was the perfect time! Continue Reading

We arrived in Battambang, Cambodia on Wednesday night and have been blessed to experience a few wonderful days here already! Our team has had a full schedule with orientation and already some great ministry times. We are so excited to spend most of our afternoons teaching English at the University of Nations here in Battambang. This is a ministry birthed a few years ago by a DTS team that basically never left. Incredible! Continue Reading

Well, our team finished the last day of ministry here in Bangkok today. What a wonderful two weeks! Just remembering all that we have experienced is amazing. We spent a day touring a Buddhist temple and some tourist attractions, we spent many days with King’s Kids doing fun discipleship programs, and also many hours working on service projects in the slum. We spent hours across the street doing evangelism at the university. Continue Reading

Yesterday was such a wonderful day for our outreach team here in Bangkok! We spent most of the day as a team working in a community close to the YWAM Thailand base. We put on our construction hats in the morning and laid some concrete in a small section of the community while others passed out Gospel tracts and another group shared with a woman who is very open to the Gospel. This woman, Joy, a couple days ago as a Buddhist, prayed to our God to send some people to help fix her house. The next day we arrived to repair the siding of her home that sits above a sewage filled swamp. Continue Reading

Today in Bangkok, Thailand at the largest university in the world we saw one of the over 600,000 students come to meet Jesus! After a couple meetings with this young man he told our team today that he wanted to become a Christian. He said it as if it was a dream of something he’d like to achieve someday if at all possible. When the two with him told him he could become a Christian right then, he almost gasped with excitement! Continue Reading

What a couple days! After flying through Honolulu, Tokyo, Taipei, and arriving in Bangkok we have been experiencing a beautiful part of the world with our outreach team. We are staying with YWAM Thailand and have been blessed to be hosted by an amazing group of leaders. Yesterday we were overwhelmed by an orientation that helped us understand Thai culture and how to stay here and be effective in our ministry in this area. We also watched a DVD showing the collection of ministries that are based out of YWAM Thailand. Incredible! This place is busting at the seams with vision. Every ministry highlighted brought us to tears and made us hope we were going to be working with all of them! Continue Reading

Today I packed up my family and all our belongings once again in preparation for an outreach to one of the most impoverished nations in the world. We are going to be spending 2 months working in Battambang, Cambodia. This nation has been torn by war and violence and is beginning to recover as God imparts hope to a broken nation. This nation is filled with young people and as we touch the young generation we touch an entire nation. Continue Reading

There is a new breed of worshipers that are being raised up around the world. I’ve been hearing this from many around the world. Everyone talks about a new season, new sound, new breed, new generation, new, new, new…sometimes I can be slow to jump onto the train, but I actually agree with the voices that are speaking this. Over the last 2 ½ months living here in Kona I believe I have met many of the new breed that God is raising up. My prayer is that everyone of these new worshipers is championed the way that Jesus would want them championed. Continue Reading

Again, just like in my last post, it was the next generation that stole the show tonight! We had so many amazing acts and many from the young kids of YWAM Kona. We had a trio of girls singing up a storm and a soloist, who was the final winner! All the young girls were amazing and brave. I was stunned at the actual talent that was here on the base as many students and staff showcased their talents in front of a couple hundred onlookers. Continue Reading

What a night of worship and the word in the Ohana Court at YWAM Kona! Lead by the young generation of leaders in YWAM. Chloe Brennt and team were ushering in the presence of God with passion for the King to receive all the glory! It was a crazy spectacle to watch them run after Jesus in such a way that it drew you into a deeper hunger for the Lord. And not just the young…all generations! Then Jordan Heres and Nick Brennt brought incredible truth and with such conviction! I loved every minute of it! Continue Reading
