Today I packed up my family and all our belongings once again in preparation for an outreach to one of the most impoverished nations in the world. We are going to be spending 2 months working in Battambang, Cambodia. This nation has been torn by war and violence and is beginning to recover as God imparts hope to a broken nation. There is a new breed of worshipers that are being raised up around the world. I’ve been hearing this from many around the world. Everyone talks about a new season, new sound, new breed, new generation, new, new, new…sometimes I can be slow to jump onto the train, but I actually agree with the voices that are speaking this. Over the last 2 ½ months living here in Kona I believe I have met many of the new breed that God is raising up. Again, just like in my last post, it was the next generation that stole the show tonight! We had so many amazing acts and many from the young kids of YWAM Kona. We had a trio of girls singing up a storm and a soloist, who was the final winner! All the young girls were amazing and brave. What a night of worship and the word in the Ohana Court at YWAM Kona! Lead by the young generation of leaders in YWAM. Chloe Brennt and team were ushering in the presence of God with passion for the King to receive all the glory! It was a crazy spectacle to watch them run after Jesus in such a way that it drew you into a deeper hunger for the Lord. And not just the young…all generations! It’s hard to believe that in the last 12 months my family has lived on 4 continents and 5 countries! What an incredible journey! If you would have asked me over a year ago where I’d be living right now I never would have guessed it would have been Kona, Hawaii, USA. We had lived in Washington State for almost 14 years and loved everything about it.
